Wool, ribbons, lace, glitters, Mason jars and more were some of the various tools used for handcrafting during the Pinterest Craft Night on Wednesday, Sept. 2. It took place at Evans 3020 from 5 p.m. until supplies lasted.
Around 40 students showed up to make handcrafts and decorate with a style of their own. They were able to decorate their own soap dispenser with Mason jars, which are especially trendy tools for crafts. Decorated light switch covers were also an option for handcrafting as well as home state art.
“Students take the state they are from and cut it out in scrapbook paper and then they put a heart or whatever they want and show where they are from,” said Kaitlyn Olsen who is in charge of night events for CAB.
“I’ll do the home state art,” said Amber Inouye. “I’m from California and my roommate is also from California.”
At the end, students left the room pleased with their creations, while CAB members thanked them for their assistance.
