On Oct. 15, the Student Worker Office moved to Stumberg Hall from its previous location in Roemer Hall.
Stumberg Hall, previously campus housing for women, is located across from Young Hall.
Amanda Price, Lindenwood director of Human Resources, said that previously, “the departmental offices were scattered about the campus and not convenient for employees seeking assistance.”
Price explained further that “Human Resources serves over 3,100 Lindenwood faculty, staff and student workers in the areas of HR, payroll, benefits and wellness.” Now all of these services can be under one roof.
When asked if the move was a permanent one, Price says that she is unsure about what the future holds, but they are there for the time being.
According to Lindenwood’s website, “The human resources office is dedicated to providing a quality education and experience for all Lindenwood University students.” This could prove to be much easier to achieve with all of the services congregated together.
Student Worker Coordinator Matthew Farnsworth says that one of the benefits to having everybody close is that they can “easily lead [students] to the other HR offices they may need to visit, such as payroll, who are located next to us here on the main floor.”
Students can go to the new office location in Stumberg Hall with any questions they have for Human Resources or the Student Worker Office.
