Another week of big names rolling through St. Louis. With artists such as Thirty Seconds to Mars, Jesse McCartney and more, there’s sure to be an artist for every music taste this week.
1. Thirty Seconds to Mars: 105.7 The Point Big Summer Show

Jared Leto played The Joker in the 2016 film “Suicide Squad,” but he is also the frontman for Thirty Seconds to Mars. The band has won numerous awards throughout the years and prove to still be going strong, as they released an album earlier this year by the name of “AMERICA.”
Other artists in attendance include WALK THE MOON, famous for songs like “Shut Up and Dance” and “Anna Sun.”

2. The Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore

Kesha has come out strong on the other side with everything she has been through and it shows in her more recent music, especially in her 2017 album “Rainbow.”
Macklemore became an almost overnight sensation with songs such as “Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us.” With over 10 million monthly listeners, Macklemore is still going strong.

3. Jesse McCartney

Everyone’s favorite teenage heartthrob is making his way back to St. Louis. His song “Beautiful Soul,” proves to be his biggest hit with over 89 million plays on Spotify. McCartney’s 2014 album “In Technicolor” was one of Spin Magazine’s top pop albums of 2014.

4. Imagine Dragons: EVOLVE TOUR

With songs such as “Thunder” and “Radioactive,” Imagine Dragons know how to put on a show that is entertaining and full of energy. The band currently have over 35 million listeners on Spotify and put out an album in 2017 called “EVOLVE,” which features the songs “Believer” and “Whatever It Takes.”

5. Janelle Monáe – Dirty Computer Tour

Janelle Monáe’s sound is described as “retro-futuristic wrapped in theatrical sound concepts” on her Spotify page. She is most associated with genres such as soul, funk, hip-hop and R&B. Monáe’s most recent album “Dirty Computer” came out earlier this year and features artists such as Pharrell Williams.

6. Remo Drive

Duck Room at Blueberry Hill
Remo Drive was formed by brothers Erik and Stephen Paulson while both were in high school. They were inspired by “older kids who smoked weed” and “listened to Title Fight,” according to their Spotify page. The brothers put out an EP earlier this year titled “Pop Music” which features three songs.

7. Chris Stapleton

Chris Stapleton rose to fame after his 2015 debut album “Traveller” gained popularity, but before that, he was a professional songwriter. He wrote songs with George Strait, Kenny Chesney and Luke Bryan.

8. Rob Zombie & Marilyn Manson: Twins Of Evil

In addition to being involved with music, Rob Zombie has spent his time working as a bike messenger and even as a production assistant for the children’s TV series, Pee Wee’s Playhouse. Zombie’s 2013 album, Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor, was his lowest selling album even though it placed on the Billboard Top Ten chart.
Described as an iconic rock frontman on Spotify, Marilyn Manson was a “mainstream antihero” in the 90s before settling down into the role of “goth elder statesman” during the 2000s. His new role came with a “matured blues-rock reinvention.”

The members of moe. got their start by playing old college bars in upstate New York by blending Americana and “clever” songwriting. The band also hosts its own music festivals by the names of moe.down and snoe.down, both of which are located in upstate New York.
