The Lindenwood Student Government Executive Board and Finance Committee meeting was held on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 5 p.m. in Evans Commons 3020.

One organization’s funds requests were approved.

The Black Student Union had three funds requests for its Black History Month events in February.

They plan to hold their first event on Feb. 4 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. outside Evans Dining Hall by providing information on Black History Month. They requested funds in the amount of $14.94 for a trifold and tabling supplies, and they were approved.

On Feb. 14, BSU will hold a “Battle of the Sexes” at 6:30 p.m. Funds were requested for team t-shirts and bottled water and were approved in the amount of $94.98.

The organization’s last event will be a dance class held on Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. They requested funds in the amount of $47.68 and were approved.

The next LSG Student Government Executive Board and Finance Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 5 p.m. in Evans Commons 3020.
