Evans Unlocked was a time for students to escape their residence halls for a few hours.
After the barrage of cold winter weather, wind, and snow, students got to spend a few hours relaxing Sat. Jan. 20 in Evans Commons. Student Involvement set up a hot cocoa bar, a cookie bar, a table full of donuts, and a popcorn bar for students to enjoy.
Students could get an airbrush tattoo or caricature from the visiting artists of Game World Services. They could also go ice skating in the iceless rink from Neon Entertainment company. Student Involvement also had a cash cube set up, students who went into the blow-up cube would be in the middle of a prize tornado and try to catch as many prizes as they could in 15 seconds.
Some of the prizes were campus dining dollars while others could be traded for tickets to put into the various raffles. Later on, the raffles for two TVs, a Bluetooth speaker, an Xbox controller, an Owala bottle, a wearable blanket called the ‘comfy’, and a Lululemon belt bag were called.
For students who wanted to relax, the Netflix original movie “Red Notice” was playing in the Evans Dining hall.
