Lindenwood University‘s Student Involvement is seeking faculty and staff to speak during its leadership series.
Every year, Student Involvement provides a leadership series with nine to 12 sessions to assist students in developing their leadership skills. Each session is about an hour long, and they cover a variety of topics, including conflict resolution, time management, fundraising, placing leadership skills on a resume, etc.
About two years ago, Student Involvement started partnering with faculty and a nonprofit administration program which also provided sessions. This year, the leadership series is open to anyone who wants to participate in assisting students with leadership skills and more sessions are expected to be offered.
Director of Student Life and Leadership, Angie Royal has reached out to both faculty and staff to present a topic of their choice. She said that the leadership series will assist students in building up their leadership skills in the real world.
Sessions will happen during the fall and spring semester. For more information, contact Royal at ARoyal@lindenwood.edu
