President of Lindenwood University, James Evans, announced his retirement effective June 1, 2015.
According to his letter to all faculty, staff and administration, Evans’ contract with the university will be fulfilled on May 31, 2015 and he plans to retire once he fulfills his contract.
Evans has been president of the university since August 2006.

Evans expressed in his letter that he is looking forward to making the 2014-2015 school year the “best ever in Lindenwood’s history.”
