Next week’s Fall Break will be a relief for Lindenwood students who have been having a very active semester. There will be no classes Monday-Tuesday, making for a five-day weekend, therefore there will be multiple things to do until classes resume on Wednesday.
Celebrating the fall season with a visit to the local pumpkin patch would be perfect to keep the American family tradition of getting pumpkins for Halloween and other seasonal activities.
“I went with my sorority and we went to the petting zoo there, took a lot of pictures with pumpkins, took a ride around the farm. It was fun,” said Tri Sigma member Claire Ulrich.
For baseball fans, there are a couple of big home games going on during this weekend. The Cardinals are playing the Cubs at Busch Stadium tonight at 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 4:30. Before each game, fans can stop at the Ballpark Village for a quick meal, such as sushi at The Drunken Fish.
For those who are feeling adventurous, going to the Meramec National Park would nice place to visit. Visitors can take a tour of its famous system of caves or hike the trails. Warm clothes are recommended for this season. A discount is also offered to veterans.
Whatever you do this Fall Break, take in your surroundings and live it to the fullest.
