Fall has arrived on campus, and along with it, the staple Starbucks drink: the Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Now that Lindenwood has gained a store, students will have the opportunity to order the popular drink.

The LARC Starbucks may have the opportunity to make some big profits this semester off the signature drink. According to Forbes, the franchise will make $100 million from Pumpkin Spice Lattes this fall alone.

Since 2003, Forbes said that Starbucks has sold 200 million of these lattes. Starbucks was the first big company to capitalize on this trendy flavor. The market for pumpkin-flavored food and drinks have been on the rise since 2012. According to Mintel Menu Insights, the flavor on restaurant menus has increased 21 percent.
