With the start of the spring semester comes staff changes, and we must say goodbye to staff members who are leaving.

Editor-in-chief Kayla Drake has stepped down and Matt Hampton will be taking her place.

Hampton said he is committed as editor-in-chief to put out Link magazine this spring.

“I look forward to working with this staff as editor-in-chief this semester,” he said. “It is a great staff, and we will accomplish great things together.”

Merlina San Nicolás will be taking over as news editor for Hampton.

Kat Owens, Lindenlink’s design chief, graduated in December 2019.

Lindenlink has hired two new paid staff members: Dominic Hoscher as sports editor and Alexa Pressley as community relations manager.

The rest of the staff remains as follows:

  • Alexis Montgomery – Culture Editor
  • Mia Tebbe – Social Media Editor
  •  James Tananan – Photo and Video Editor

Keep your eyes out for the next issue of Link Magazine coming out this spring.
