Lindenwood University men’s ice hockey will have its fourth of five weekends at home this coming weekend at the Wentzville Ice Arena against Robert Morris University. This is the first of two series between Robert Morris and Lindenwood, and the second series will be played Jan. 11 and 12 at the Edge Ice Arena in Chicago.

During the 2016-2017 season, Lindenwood was scheduled to meet Robert Morris for the first time in January, but the series was canceled because of weather conditions. The two teams eventually met in February with Lindenwood winning both games with a combined seven goals in the two games.

After Lindenwood’s shootout win and regulation loss to the University of Illinois last weekend, according to the ACHA rankings as of Nov. 1, the University of Illinois jumped up three spots to overtake Lindenwood as number three in the division. Lindenwood fell three spots and now ranks sixth, just one spot ahead of Robert Morris University.
