Lindenwood’s men’s and women’s soccer teams continued their spring schedule recently, with the men’s team playing Maryville University, and the women’s playing Quincy University.
The men’s game against Maryville resulted in a 1-1 tie. The lone Lindenwood goal came from forward Parker Smith, with an assist from teammate John Gates.
The women’s team defeated Quincy by a score of 3-0. Senior Faith Montandon scored one of the Lindenwood goals, with Eyglo Thornsteinsdottir and Allison Schrumpf also getting in on the action, each scoring a goal of their own. In addition, Schrumpf was named play of the game.
The next time the men’s and women’s soccer teams hit the pitch this Spring is yet to be announced.
