Deborah Horan visited Lindenwood University Monday and Tuesday to immerse students in the stories of her experiences as a journalist.

Horan started her career on a whim, leaving a partially paid law school opportunity. She studied Political Science as an undergraduate and became interested in the Middle East.

I got to interview Horan and got some insight on what it’s like to investigate abroad and she also shared some advice for aspiring journalists.
