The mayor of Wentzville has drafted an ordinance for food venders after a young girl was struck and killed by an ice cream truck late last month.
The new ordinance will require all vendors selling food and frozen treats from a vehicle to have a business license.
Mayor Nick Guccione is also looking at the possibility of requiring back up cameras and 360 mirrors to be installed as well. His main reason for drafting the ordinance is to keep children safe.
