Lindenwood alumni Pierre Desir signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this week.

The Bucs signed the former Lindenwood cornerback to the practice squad. The team is in need of help in the secondary due to their starting defensive back Sean Murphy Bunting dislocating his elbow in last week’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

Tampa Bay won Super Bowl XXXVII. The team is led by legendary quarterback Tom Brady.

Desir started off with the Seahawks during the preseason, but the team released him in August. 

Last year, he played for the New York Jets and the Baltimore Ravens. He accumulated 47 tackles and three interceptions.
