Oktoberfest returns with German music, food and gift vendors, antique car show

The annual Saint Charles Oktoberfest festival is back with new bands, foods, races, and many interesting activities for families, adults, and children to enjoy.
Oktoberfest will take place on the last weekend of September, starting on Sept. 24. to Sept. 26.
Friday, Sept. 24 – 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 25 – 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 26 – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This year’s Oktoberfest promises to have an entertaining program for everyone. This includes: food and gift vendors, antique car show, Wiener Takes All Dachshund races, popular German music, food, beverages, 5k and 10k run, and children’s area.
Music plays a significant role at Oktoberfest, that is why this weekend there will be more than 15 bands performing including Euro Express, the Klaberheads, Trixie Delight, die Schlauberger, Anthony J. Russo, and more. German Cultural Society dance groups such as Kindertanzgruppe, Volkstanzgruppe, Wir Tanzen, and many more will be performing at the festival as well.
