Lindenwood University is celebrating homecoming week from Oct. 6 to Oct. 9.

Homecoming week is filled with fun events every day and is one of the most exciting times for Lindenwood students.
Students, parents, and alumni get a chance to meet new people, enjoy their time on campus, and spend time with their family and friends.
Here’s the schedule of Homecoming events for the week:
Student Organization Fair
What: Students highlight their organization in this fun-filled fair. By matching their booth to the Homecoming theme and interacting with the crowd, students will win points for overall winner of the Homecoming week.
When: Wednesday, Oct. 6; 5 – 7 p.m.
Where: Evans Commons, Atrium
Lip Sync & Pep Rally
What: This event provides five opportunities for student organizations to win points: best performance by a large group, best performance by a medium group, best performance by a small group, heart of the lion, and most creative. This is a must-attend event for all Lindenwood community. Lindenwood has been hosting lip sync competitions for over 10 years where students form groups with their organizations, teams, and resident halls to compete with each other.
When: Thursday, Oct. 7; 7 – 9 p.m.
Where: Hyland Arena
Student Bonfire
What: Spend time at the bonfire with friends, meet new people, and enjoy free popcorn from Sweet Poppins while listening to 89.1 the Wood.
When: Friday, Oct. 8; 8 – 11 p.m.
Where: Pfremmer Hall, Lakeside Amphitheatre
Homecoming Parade 2021
What: Lindenwood University’s Homecoming parade 2021, themed “Legends and Lions.” The parade will feature Lindenwood students representing the university, organizations, clubs, athletics, and academics.
When: Saturday, Oct. 9; 10 – 11:30 a.m.
Where: Main Street, Saint Charles
Lion Pride Tailgate
What: Tailgate activities include local vendors, 4 Hands Brewery, SugarFire BBQ, a live band, and more. The tailgating zone is free and open to everyone.
When: Saturday, Oct. 9; 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Field House
• Homecoming Football Game
What: Lindenwood Lions (3-2) game against Quincy University (3-2). Tickets can be purchased either in advance or at the door on game day.
When: Saturday, Oct. 9; 1 p.m.
Where: Harlen C. Hunter Stadium
