The women’s team fell 69-58 to a No. 4 Drury side in the first game of the doubleheader. In the loss, forward Julia Ruzevich entered Lindenwood’s 1,000 point club after a 23 point outing.

The Lions are now 9-11 on the season, 6-7 in conference play, and will travel to Maryville on Saturday, Feb. 12.

The men’s team lost in a heartbreaker on Saturday, dropping their game to Drury 75-74. The Lions had a chance to win at the end, down by one with possession, but senior guard Jacoby Ross turned the ball over, resulting in the game clock expiring.

Ross tallied a team-high 20 points in the defeat, while senior Brandon Suggs notched a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Now sitting at 9-13 overall and 5-9 in the GLVC, the Lions next game will be on the road at Maryville on Saturday.
