Brad Wachler is no longer with Lindenwood University, President John R. Porter announced in an email Friday morning.

Betsy Feutz, who was Lindenwood’s Associate Athletic Director, will serve as the university’s interim Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics.

“We must remain focused and steadfast in our efforts to provide the best student-athlete experience,” Feutz said. ” It’s my job to reduce the noise and distractions that can negatively impact our student-athletes’ academic and competitive pursuits.”

No details on Wachler’s departure are available at this time.

Wachler was in his sixth year as vice president. He was a part of Lindenwood’s transition from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, or MIAA, to the Great Lakes Valley Conference, or GLVC, in the summer of 2019, as well as the transition from Division II to Division I.

Updates will be included as they become available.
