After a strong start to the year, the Lindenwood baseball team has struggled in recent weeks, including in their most recent home series against Maryville University from April 9-10.

The Lions went 1-3 against the Saints, starting the series with a 6-5 win on April 9 before falling in the next three games.

Maryville out-scored Lindenwood 21-9 in the final three games of the series.

Lindenwood then went on the road to the University of Missouri-St. Louis from April 14-16, where the Lions’ struggles continued. Despite opening the series with a 9-7 win on April 14, Lindenwood once again fell in their next three games against the Tritons, being out-scored 11-7 during that span.

The Lions are now 20-17 overall and 9-7 in conference play, as they return home to host Drury University from April 22-24.
