Lindenwood’s men’s rugby team earned a trip to the D1A National Championship semifinals with a dominant 41-10 win against Arkansas State on Saturday.

The Lions trailed 7-0 early in the first half, and later 10-7. Before the halftime break, Lindenwood evened the score at 10-10.

They carried over the momentum into the second half, scoring 34 unanswered points after trailing by three. Lindenwood finished the game on top by a 41-10 scoreline.

The win improved the team’s record to 32-2 on the year, and 16-1 while playing at Hunter Stadium. Lindenwood will next take on Army on Friday, April 22, at 6 p.m. in West Point, New York.
