Campus Activities Board hosted an Open Skate Night event for Lindenwood students at Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights on Friday, Jan. 20.

Over 150 Lindenwood students attended the event.

Before the Open Skate Night, The Women’s NCAA ice hockey team played a game against Syracuse University. The Women’s Ice Hockey team fought hard till the end, but some unfortunate early goals by the Orange were unable to be recovered by the Lions.

Syracuse won the game 1-4. The Lions would ultimately split the series the next day, beating the Orange 6-3.

After the game, Lindenwood students were invited to ice skate at the rink. CAB also provided a full spread of finger foods, handhelds, and drinks.
