The Lindenwood Lion’s softball team played their first game of Fall exhibition play on Friday, September 20, facing off against Quincy University. The team is slated to play eight games against other St. Louis area schools throughout the next month and a half, for a Fall schedule that the team has not played in numerous seasons. The Lions host a pair of double headers this weekend, with the University of Missouri St. Louis playing on Saturday, and Maryville University playing on Sunday. The school will also welcome St. Louis Community College, Jefferson College, and the St. Charles Community College over the course of the next month, in addition to playing St. Louis University and Rockhurst University on the road during that time.
The doubleheader against UMSL and Maryville both kick off at 12 p.m. this coming weekend.
