If beauty is what you seek, look no further than your backyard. There are several places both scenic and architectural that will blow your eyesight away. Here are some great places of scenery.

*Great River Road

The Great River Road begins in the river town of Alton, Illinois, just across the river from north St. Louis County, and stretches north along the Mississippi River. Travel about 40 minutes north on the road and visitors will find Grafton, Illinois, another small town with ice-cream parlors, restaurants and shops. Grafton is also home to Pere Marquette Lodge.

*Three Sixty: Rooftop Bar St. Louis

The Three Sixty sits atop the Hilton at the Ballpark. Both the indoor and outdoor portions of the bar offer views of the Arch and downtown St. Louis. Visitors can see into Busch Stadium from the outdoor portion of the bar making it a popular destination when the Cardinals are playing at home.
