Here are the Lindenwood sporting events on campus Nov. 1 – Nov. 5. Students can earn points by checking into events on the Lindenwood Lion Pride app. Points can then be redeemed for prizes, including free Under Armour shoes and Papa John’s pizza. The app is available for free download on Apple’s App Store and the  Google Play store. 

MEN’S D2 ICE HOCKEY VS MCKENDREE  

7 p.m. | Nov. 1 | Lindenwood Ice Arena (Wentzville)

The D2 men’s ice hockey team (5-5-1) will look to move above .500 when it takes on McKendree University (9-3) on Wednesday night.  

MEN’S SOCCER VS SOUTHWEST BAPTIST 

1 p.m. | Nov. 3 | Hunter Stadium 

MEN’S SOCCER VS NORTHEASTERN STATE 

4 p.m. | Nov. 5 | Hunter Stadium 

The men’s soccer team (8-7, 3-3 MIAA) will take on Southwest Baptist (1-14, 1-5 MIAA) and Northeastern State (12-4, 5-1 MIAA) this week. It is the Lions last two games of the season. Freshman Michele Ganz has led the Lions this season with 12 goals in 15 games. The Italian is also tied for the most goals in the MIAA conference.  

WOMEN’S ICE HOCKEY VS NO. 9 ROBERT MORRIS 

6 p.m. | Nov. 3 | Lindenwood Ice Arena (Wentzville) 

1 p.m. | Nov. 4 | Lindenwood Ice Arena (Wentzville) 

The women’s ice hockey team (2-5-1) will face conference foe Robert Morris (5-1-2) in a double header this weekend. Robert Morris is coming off the back of two ties with Penn State last weekend. Sophomore Taylor Girard leads the Lions offense with six goals and five assists this season. Girard has already eclipsed her goal and assists totals from last season. 

MEN’S D1 ICE HOCKEY VS ROBERT MORRIS 

7 p.m. | Nov. 4 | Lindenwood Ice Arena (Wentzville) 

2 p.m. | Nov. 5 | Lindenwood Ice Arena (Wentzville) 

The men’s ice hockey team (10-1-2) will play visiting Robert Morris (2-5) this weekend also. The Lions will be looking to continue their strong start to the season against the Colonials. Lindenwood comes in to the match having won four of their last five games. Jake Townsend currently leads the Lions with five goals on the season. Whilst Mike Lozano, Tommy Heinzman and Alex Carlsson have seven assists each. The trio have assisted on 50 percent of the Lions 42 goals this year. 

WOMEN’S RUGBY VS NOTRE DAME COLLEGE 

1 p.m. | Nov. 4 | Hunter Stadium 

The women’s rugby team is still riding the high of a maiden victory over six-time defending national champions Penn State University two weekends ago. This weekend the Lions will turn their focus to Notre Dame College (2-5). 

MEN’S RUGBY VS LINDENWOOD-BELLEVILLE 

7:30 p.m. | Nov. 4 | Hunter Stadium 

The men’s rugby team (5-0) will take on Lindenwood-Belleville on Saturday night. Lindenwood-Belleville’s rugby team was started in 2015 and has achieved considerable success in their first two years. The last time these teams one Lindenwood beat Lindenwood-Belleville 64-15. 

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL VS WASHBURN  

3 p.m. | Nov. 4 | Hyland Arena 

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL VS EMPORIA STATE 

1 p.m. | Nov. 5 | Hyland Arena 

The women’s volleyball team (16-12, 7-7 MIAA) will look to clinch its first ever MIAA tournament berth this weekend when they take on Washburn (16-10, 7-7 MIAA) and Emporia State (14-14, 6-9 MIAA) If they defeat Washburn on Friday night they will jump to sixth in the MIAA standings. The Lions have been boosted by the return of middle hitter Alex Bogusz. 

WOMEN’S FIELD HOCKEY VS BELLARMINE UNIVERSITY 

4 p.m. | Nov. 3 | Hunter Stadium 

The women’s field hockey team (15-2, 9-1 ECAC) will play Bellarmine University (8-10, 3-5 ECAC) on Friday. The game will be a part of the ECAC conference tournament. If Lindenwood wins they will progress to the next round.
