Lindenwood’s women’s volleyball team evened up their season record at 10-10 on Friday, Oct. 20, as they took a 3-1 against Morehead State University.

While the Lions dropped the first of four matches, they rallied to take three straight sets to conclude the match, giving them the win.

Throughout the entire match, Lindenwood outscored Morehead by a score of 69-58.

Senior Addy McAleer and junior Nyah Wilson led the Lions in kills, the statistic that directly leads to a team point. McAleer had 11, while Wilson followed closely behind with 10.

Fifth year player Allie Otten set up 22 kills, earning the assist for each and every one of them, leading the team in that category. Junior Abby VanBuskirk followed Otten in the stat, recording 15 assists of her own.

As a whole, Lindenwood held Morehead State to a hit percentage of just 0.98, compared to their hit percentage of .207. The team also made 22 errors throughout the entirety of the event.

The Lions take on Morehead State again on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hyland Arena. Next week, the Little Rock Trojans come to town to play two games against Lindenwood.
