Both Lindenwood’s men’s and women’s soccer teams kicked off their Spring seasons this past weekend, each playing games on Sunday.
The women’s team kicked off their season playing Evansville, kicking off their spring schedule after going 3-13-1 in the fall. The Lions were able to record the win, by a score of 2-0. The two Lindenwood goals were scored by senior Faith Montandon and sophomore Rachel Jackson. The women’s team returned to the field on April 6 to face off against their next opponent.
As for the men’s team, they played a pair of games in their return to the pitch for the spring season. The team faced off against both Lincoln Trail College and St. Charles Community College and won the games by a score of 2-0 and 1-0.
The spring schedule next game for the men’s team is not yet known, as their schedule hasn’t been finalized.
