Student Government plans bill for LARC crosswalk

Here is a recap of the weekly Lindenwood Student Government meeting in Dunseth Auditorium:

  • Speaker of the Senate Nam Nguyen stated his plans for a bill to create a crosswalk to the Library Academic Resources Center.
  • Cody Finan, Community Engagement Coordinator for child and family services charity Youth In Need, spoke about the local nonprofit.  Youth in Need provides counseling, emergency shelter, education, foster care and other services to children and families in St. Charles. Finan said he hopes Lindenwood students will volunteer for the group.
  • The Campus Activity Board announced this month’s Friday Night Live Event, the ThinkFast Game Show, which will be at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 29 in Evans Commons.
