ST. CHARLES MO.- Lindenwood standout offensive lineman, Gavin Hulet, has earned an NFL minicamp invite from the Indianapolis Colts following the NFL draft this weekend.
Hulet spent two seasons as a Lion and started all 24 games between left and right tackle. The Texas native was a 1st team All OVC-Big South selection in 2025 and anchored a group that led the association in two major offensive lineman categories, including leading an offense that scored 20 touchdowns during conference play.
For his efforts during the year, Hulet was tabbed a Midseason All-American by Phil Steele and was a First Team All-Conference selection by that same outlet. The swing tackle was a big part of an offensive line that led the OVC-Big South in rushing during the 2024 season at 173.7 yards per game.
Hulet becomes the fourth offensive lineman in the last three years to earn an invite from an organization, joining Blake Rogenhofer, Cameron Cooper and Gareth Warren.
One of the big highlights of Hulet’s senior season was catching a touchdown pass from Nate Glantz against Tennessee Tech.
Former Lindenwood wide receiver, Jeff Caldwell, will also get an NFL opportunity as he signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Caldwell transferred to Cincinnati after spending three seasons at Lindenwood where in 28 games he racked up 93 catches for 1,772 yards and 23 touchdowns. In 2024 he put up monster numbers hauling in 53 passes for 1,032 yards and 11 touchdowns becoming just the fourth player ever to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards in a season.
