Director of Public Safety and Security Ryan Anderson said the St. Charles Police Department is investigating the incident.

Lt. Thomas Wilkison, public information officer for the Police Department, said Wednesday that no information is available about the investigation yet.

According to a timely warning email from Public Safety, the university is investigating an event reported to them around 3:30 p.m Saturday afternoon. The alleged assault occurred around 2 a.m.

According to the warning, the subject is a “white male, approx. 20 years old and known to the reporting party.”

The email also asked anyone with information about the alleged incident to call Public Safety at 636-949-4911.

Seven sexual assaults reportedly occurred on campus last school year, four in spring 2019 and three in fall 2018.
