Michael Shonrock, Lindenwood’s 22nd president, took office June 1. Before coming to St. Charles, he served as Emporia State University’s president in Emporia, Kansas.

In the following interview, he discusses his personality, management style and plans for the university, as well as what he experienced throwing the first pitch at a Cardinals game.
