Lindenwood’s student news publications The Legacy and LindenLink won 10 Missouri College Media Awards last Saturday, April 9.
The Missouri College Media Awards is a state-wide competition hosted by the Missouri Press Association that recognizes college news publications across the state.
The awards The Legacy and LindenLink won are the following:
1st place: Story Illustration, Rachel Schuldt (page 4)
1st place: Best Opinion Page Design (page 7)
2nd place: Best Opinion, Emily Adair
2nd place: Best Sports Page Design (page 5)
2nd place: Best Campus Engagement Campaign, Bring Taylor Swift to LU
3rd place: Best Multimedia Package, Phil Brahm
3rd place: Best Website – LindenLink
Honorable mention: Best Feature Story, Essi Virtanen (page 3)
Honorable mention: Best Investigative Story, Viktoria Muench
Honorable mention: Best Feature Page Design (page 5)
Of the 10 awards, nine of them were completed in the fall semester.
