As the fall semester closes, Legacy magazine and Lindenlink.com staff will be saying goodbye to a few members.

Editor-in-chief Essi Auguste Virtanen is graduating and will be replaced by Mitchell Kraus.

Kraus said he is excited for the challenge but at the same time a little nervous to be filling such big shoes.

“Essi did a great job transitioning from a weekly newspaper to a monthly magazine, and I’m excited to see where we can take it,” Kraus said.

Madeline Raineri will be taking over as news editor for Kyle Rainey, who is graduating as well.

Matt Hampton will become a member of the reporting staff after volunteering for the publication for a year and a half.

The rest of the staff will remain as follows:

  • Online editor: Lindsey Fiala
  • Video content manager: Michelle Sproat
  • A&E editor: Kayla Drake
  • Sports editor: Nick Feakes
  • Opinions editor: Kearstin Cantrell
  • Chief copy editor: J.T. Buchheit
  • Design chief: Kat Owens
  • Visuals editor: Yukiho Nishibayashi
  • Business manager: Hunter Hogan

The next issue of Legacy magazine will be on news racks Feb. 2.

Legacy magazine and Lindenlink staff would like to wish you all a wonderful holiday season and new year. See you next year!
