A sexual assault reportedly happened late Dec. 9 at a campus residence, just before finals week began.

According to a timely warning email sent out Thursday by the university, the assault happened about 11 p.m. that night but wasn’t reported to Public Safety and Security until 11 a.m. on Dec. 13.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 19 years old, and he was known to the reporting party. No other details were provided, and it’s unclear if the police are involved.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Office of Public Safety and Security at 636-949-4911.
