Halloween is around the corner.

While some are already visiting the nearest pumpkin patch, others still have yet to find the perfect activity during the spooky season.

Here is a list of eight things to do during Halloween season:

Go to a haunted house

Haunted houses are popular around this time of the year and there is plenty of choices in the St. Charles and St. Louis areas. Just look up “haunted houses near me.”

Go to a corn maze

Whether attending with family or friends, corn mazes are a fun way to celebrate the spooky season without being scared (or not, it depends on which one you go to).

Go to a pumpkin patch

Whether it is to take cute pictures or to do some fall activities, going to a pumpkin patch is a great way to put you in the holiday spirit.

Watch horror movies

If it is too cold outside, there is always the option to watch scary movies at home. And if you don’t like horror movies, close your eyes.

Dress up and attend a costume party

Whether you already prepared this year’s costume or you are doing a last-minute DIY one, there is always the option of attending a themed party or having your own party at home.

Carve pumpkins

Pumpkin carving with friends or family is always fun, and they make nice decorations for your porch.

Decorate your house/room

Decorating does not have to be expensive! You can always go to the nearest dollar store and find some cheap decorations to add a festive spirit to your home or dorm room.

Bake Halloween-themed treats

Cookies or cupcakes, here is a list of Halloween-themed treats you can bake to enjoy the spooky season.
