Lindenwood University has gone through a lot of apps and programs to connect students with events and clubs, but now they are rolling out a new one that is here to stay, Mane Connection.
Mane Connections can be accessed on a web browser or through the Corq app. Students can view upcoming events, join clubs, and keep track of their involvement through this program. Lindenwood Student Involvement encourages everyone to sign up using their Lindenwood email. To incentivize, students who sign in to events using Mane Connection will get points towards a prize at the Late Night Breakfast event later this semester.
Corq can be downloaded from Google Play or App Store. For students on the go, the Corq app gives access to scheduled events, organization pages, news, and an event pass. When the app opens, it will ask what campus or university students are trying to connect with. Type in Lindenwood University, and sign in just like you would sign in to Outlook or any other Lindenwood programs.
Then students will be given this page, a list of all scheduled events. Each individual can filter what events show up on this page by the distance they are from campus, the perks of going, the themes, and the categories. When clicked on, the event pages pop up with details, links, and a place to RSVP. The map function allows students to see which events are close and which are off campus.
Students can also find a list of organizations on the Corq app. Each student organization, either student or department-run, should be listed on this. Students can click on an organization to go to their home page. Here is where a brief explanation of the organization can be found, as well as the officers, a way to contact the organization, and a way to join the organization. Joining an organization on Mane Connection is the same as joining it in person, students become members.
The web browser version of Mane Connection offers even more for students and organizations. This is where organizations can input events, reserve spaces, and order catering. Students can also access the news section of Mane Connection. Here they can see anything clubs or organizations publish, such as updates or news about events.
Lindenwood Student Involvement encourages all Lindenwood Students to download the Corq app or find the Mane Connection Website to find events and start getting involved in campus life as the 2024-25 school year starts off.
