ST. CHARLES, MO. – Lindenwood hosted its first-ever combined Showcase yesterday, April 23, 2026, bringing together the previous Student Academic Showcase, Faculty Showcase, and Celebration of Teaching into one campus-wide event.
With classes cancelled for the day, students and faculty were able to fully participate, with presentations held throughout the LARC (Library & Academic Resource Center) and Harmon Hall. The morning focused on faculty research and development, while the afternoon highlighted the students’ work through posters and oral presentations.
Projects were organized into five categories, including Original Research, Creative, Exploratory, Proposal, and Civic Engagement. Awards were given to the top presentations in each category, along with the Alpha Chi People’s Choice Award, which was chosen based on votes from attendees.
The showcase featured a wide range of work from research studies to creative projects and community-focused initiatives, which allowed students to present their work and see what others across campus have been working on.
Overall, the event brought different parts of Lindenwood together and created a space to share ideas, recognize achievements, and celebrate the work being done across the university. Attendees were also encouraged to post about the event using #LUShowcase26
