Lindenwood University is set to celebrate its Homecoming Week 2025, October 20-25. Welcoming back alumni, families, and friends to campus to enjoy a week full of pride, tradition, and community. This year’s theme is “All Roads Lead to Lindenwood.” It honors each student’s unique path that has brought every past, present, and future Lion together.
Spirit week begins October 20-25 with various themed Spirit Days allowing Lions to show their school pride. These themes have been designed to get the campus excited for the week of activities together.
Monday, Oct. 20 – Zoom Day: Kicking off the week with a “business on top, casual on bottom” outfit that is perfect for that hybrid work vibe
Tuesday, Oct. 21 – Country Hoedown: Throw on your cowboy boots, hat, and a flannel shirt for a night of rustic fun at the Hoco Hoedown! Located on Evans Commons Lawn, enjoy free food, live music, line dancing, and western-themed photo ops!
Wednesday, Oct. 22 Wacky Wednesday: Mismatched and bold outfits take center stage as students embrace creativity and humor with their style!
Thursday, Oct. 23 Tacky Tourist: In the spirit of Homecoming, students and staff are asked to go all out for tourist fashion with Hawaiian shirts, socks and sandals, fanny packs, and a wide-brimmed hat.
Later, between 7-8 pm in Hyland Arena, Lindenwood welcomes back its annual tradition of Homecoming lip sync! Student groups will dress in costumes and perform amusicalc number with the theme “All Roads Lead to Lindenwood.”
Friday, Oct. 24, Black & Gold Day: Pride week will end strong with wearing any Lindenwood gear to showcase your Lion pride in Black and Gold.
Homecoming Weekend Events: After a week of Lindenwood spirit, the events continue.
Friday, Oct. 24, marks the return of Lindenwood University’s annual Gala hosted by President Dr. John R. Porter and First Lady Mrs. Beverly Porter. This event begins Friday evening at the Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in St. Charles. The Gala promises more than 400 guests, including alumni and communitypartnerss to attend an elegant evening with dinner, entertainment, and both a silent and live auction. All in support of Lindenwood Students.
Saturday, Oct. 25, begins bright and early with Lindenwood’s Homecoming Parade located on Main Street, St. Charles, at 9 a.m. The parade begins at Lewis and Clark Boat House and continues down the strip! The celebrations continue with the Lions Pride Tailgate at 11 a.m. outside of Hunter Stadium, where students, alumni, and families can gather for games, food, and music.
At 2 p.m., the Lindenwood Homecoming football game kicks off against Gardner-Webb University. Lions fans can purchase their tickets in advance or at the gates of Hunter Stadium. The Homecoming Court and Royalty winners will be announced during halftime of the game. Following into the evening, Lindenwood wraps up the events with Family and Supporter bingo at 6 p.m., featuring prizes and refreshments in the Spellman AB Leadership room.
Meet the 2025 Homecoming Court and Royalty Candidate
Homecoming Royalty Candidates:
The four senior candidates who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, campus involvement, and Lion pride. Students can vote for two candidates to be crowned Homecoming Royalty.
Alve Harrold: A double major in Psychology and Sociology, and serves as the social media officer for the LU Pridettes. She is also the Events chair for Psi Chi Honor Society and is an active student in the Black Students Union and First Generation Collegians.
Jasmine Mueller: Majoring in Elementary Education, Jasmine is the Vice President of Panhellenic Association, Co-lead for Order of Omega, President of Kappa Delta Pi, and Public Affairs Officer for Army ROTC.
Eli Northcutt: A double major in Political Science and Criminology with a triple minor. Eli is also the Vice President of Community Relations for IFC, a member of Phi Lambda Chi, and a student-athlete on the Lindenwood Men’s Bowling Team.
María Morles Palacios: An international student from Guatemala, María is the President of the National Society of Leadership and Success, President of the Latin Dance Club, and director of Member Development for Sigma Sigma Sigma.

First-year Attendents:
Maggie Bannester: A feature twirler for the Lion’s Pride Marching Band and a member of Delta Zeta. She is also the reigning Miss Hanibal and will compete for Miss Missouri 2026.
Zoey Lakin: A Business Administration major who is involved in both cheerleading and Phi Sigma Sigma.
Sophomore Attendents:
Harmoni Hawkins: A double major in Psychology and Sociology. Harmoni also serves as the President of the Psychology Interest Club, an Honors Ambassador, and a Psi Chi officer.
Julia Schoonbaert: A Canadian International student who is double-majoring in English Education and Sociology. She is an active RHA, the National Honor Society, and a part of the Women’s ACHA hockey team.
Junior Attendents:
Cody Heath: A double major in Criminology and Political Science with an emphasis in Pre-Law. He is also the President of Delta Tau Delta, a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, and a Lion Leader Coordinator.
Emily Worthmore: A double major in Broadcasting and Digital Marketing. Emily serves as the Student Body Vice President, a Delta Zeta intern, and a student manager for the Lindenwood Men’s ACHA Hockey Team.

As Homecoming week proceeds, excitement continues to build across campus with spirited outfits and campus events, to the crowning of this year’s Homecoming Royalty. One thing is certain: All Roads Truly Lead to Lindenwood.
